The sapphire in this ring comes from small-scale artisan mining and has no treatment to intensify the colour. It has been cut exclusively for Majoral by Nilanthi Tisera, the first woman to head a lapidary studio in Sri Lanka. The name of the collection and its oriental inspiration pay homage to initiatives like her studio, Sunrise Facets which help to achieve, between everyone, responsible jewellery.
